Lead Teacher and Director of Curriculum (2nd-6th Grade)
Dr. Tracey Holoman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Norfolk State University, and a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Maryland. She has also continued her pursuit of elementary education coursework at the University of Phoenix. Dr. Holoman enjoys reading, learning as much as possible, and researching, in addition to spending time with her family. She has been teaching for many years in many different capacities: Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Maryland, Teacher Training Institute, tutoring, Bible Institute and Children’s Church at Mount Jezreel Baptist Church, just to name a few. Dr. Holoman has served as Head Teacher and been teaching students from preschool-6th grade at MJCS for the past 16 years. Dr. Holoman’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.”
