Ms. Kirklen

Eileen Kirklen – Art Teacher, Mt. Jezreel Christian School I recently retired from MCPS with 35 years service as a Media Specialist with specialties in library media , STEAM (STEM), and makerspace. I also did freelance classes for 17 years with Montgomery County Recreation Programs teaching art and craft classes to both children and adults. I have also taught summer classes at Mt. Jezreel in past years. I have won several awards throughout the years for my work as a media specialist and also awards for my artwork. I love working with children and bringing out their talents and skills in art. In art I tell children that there are no mistakes, just creative challenges. We can all challenge ourselves to create something unique and wonderful.
